Diversified Technical Systems, Inc. (DTS), with headquarters located at 1720 Apollo Court, Seal Beach, California, 90740, United States, declares that our Data Acquisition Measurement Systems are designed and manufactured in the United States of America.

Buyer and Seller (hereafter also known collectively as “Parties”) shall comply with the laws and regulations of the United States of America (USA) relating to exports and foreign transactions, including but not limited to, the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) (22 C.F.R. Parts 120-130), the Arms Export Control Act (22 U.S.C. 2778), the Export Administration Regulation (EAR) (15 C.F.R. Parts 730-774) and the Export Administration Act of 1979, as amended (50 U.S.C. 2401 et. Seq.). In particular, the Parties shall not disclose any technical data nor deliver, export, re-export or re-transfer any Goods out of the USA, or to foreign persons or entities within or outside the USA, without the proper written authorization and/or licenses from the U.S. Government. Buyer hereby indemnifies and agrees to hold Seller harmless from any costs, damages, penalties, attorney’s fees and similar expenses of Seller due to Buyer’s breach (or threatened breach) of such obligation. The parties shall reasonably cooperate with each other in obtaining all required export and import licenses, approvals and/or notifications pursuant to such U.S. laws.

When a statement of conformity to a specification or standard for the test or calibration is requested, the following binary Decision Rule shall apply:
Diversified Technical Systems, Inc. reports a statement of compliance based on actual reading of the device under test compared to the standard being utilized, regardless of measurement uncertainties, without applying any guardband or reporting any conditional pass / fail result. All accredited tests or calibrations must be approved by acceptance of a supplied quote or referencing the specific quote number on a purchase order or contract. Your acceptance of our Decision Rule is as designated unless otherwise agreed upon, in writing, prior to the start of the calibration.

Diversified Technical Systems, Inc. (DTS) supports government and industry initiatives to avoid the use of conflict minerals purchased from sources whose revenue is believed to finance or benefit armed groups who commit human rights abuses in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and adjoining countries.

Under the Dodd-Frank Act, the following minerals and their derivatives are defined as conflict minerals:

  • Columbite-tantalite (Coltan) >> refined into tantalum (Ta)
  • Cassiterite >> refined into tin (Sn)
  • Wolframite >> refined into tungsten (W)
  • Gold (Au)

DTS will comply with the conflict minerals reporting rules adopted under the Dodd-Frank Act. We expect our suppliers to provide required information to support our due diligence efforts.

DTS will take the required steps over time to source from socially responsible suppliers when the choice of supplier is within the company’s control. DTS will also encourage customers and suppliers to do the same.

Diversified Technical Systems, Inc. (DTS) does not manufacture or import any chemical substances into the EU in quantities of 1 tonne or more per year.  In addition, the DTS products imported into the EU do not contain chemical substances intended to be released during the normal conditions of the product’s use as defined by the REACH regulation and existing guidance. DTS does not have a direct REACH obligation to register substances.
