SOFTWARE
DTS has designed and engineered a complete line of software exclusively for DTS data acquisition systems. All software is developed with intuitive user interfaces, flexible features and maximum efficiency for data collection, viewing and analysis.

TDAS Control Software
TDAS Control Software

TDAS Control Software

TDAS Control Software

TDAS Control software was developed by test engineers for test engineers. TDAS Control is used to run TDAS PRO, TDAS PRO LAB and TDAS G5 data acquisition systems. It implements extensive diagnostic features while keeping the user interface straightforward and easy to configure. TDAS Control provides easy-to-use tools for configuring output timing, as well as advanced features such as automatic sensor assignment, detailed channel diagnostics real-time display. Additional features for the TDAS PRO Timed Output Module include squib resistance checks and firing to internal loads to support successful testing every time.

TDAS Control is Windows XP, Vista, or 7 compatible. Once the TDAS Control initializes the system and it is armed, the computer can be disconnected and the modules will collect data with no additional support. After the test, data stored in each module is downloaded to the PC hard drive in binary format. Once on the hard drive, the binary data files are then unpacked for viewing and post-processing.

Information regarding TDAS hardware calibration, test setup information, and calibration information for the sensors in the test lab inventory is stored in files that are managed by the TDAS Control software. TDAS hardware is rugged, modular and inherently expandable. TDAS PRO and TDAS G5 systems can be linked together for >6,400 channels in one test.

There are no potentiometers to adjust because hardware settings are made completely under software control. Every time a data collection task is initiated, the software runs a thorough calibration check on each measurement channel. Appropriate gains are set, sensor offsets are zeroed and anti-aliasing filters are set. The software also contains standard point-and-click processing options for SAE-class post-filters, integrals, resultants, HICs, and others.

SLICEware Software
SLICEWare Software

SLICEWare Software

DTS developed SLICEWare to run SLICE MICRO and SLICE NANO miniature data acquisition systems. SLICEWare set-up and control software provides fast, easy-to-use tools for storing sensor information and performing data collection. Advanced features such as automatic sensor assignment, detailed channel diagnostics, and real-time data display support successful testing and quality data every time.

SLICEWare software application allows for easy:
  • Test set-up
  • Sensor database management
  • Real-time sensor check-out
  • Test execution
  • Data download and viewing
  • Data export

SLICEWare is Windows XP, Vista, or 7 compatible. SLICE is a standalone data acquisition system so once it is armed, the PC can be disconnected. After receiving a Start Record or Trigger signal, the SLICE autonomously collects data, storing it to flash memory with no user interaction. After the test, the user can reconnect the PC to download the data. There is also a real-time mode in the SLICEWare software application that allows the user to check channel inputs on an oscillograph-looking screen.

SLICE supports two data collection modes: Circular Buffer and Recorder. In Circular Buffer mode, the user can program SLICE to record x seconds pre-trigger and x seconds post-trigger, up to the limit of the internal memory. Time Zero (T=0) is marked when the Trigger signal is received. Recorder mode starts when a Start Record signal is received and continues for the time specified in the test set-up. If a Trigger signal is received sometime after the Start Record, this marks the T=0 point.

SLICEWare's sensor database allows for easy management of large or small sensor inventories. The integrated view of available SLICE systems defaults to automatic sensor assignment using Electronic ID and also supports easy manual assignment of sensors to channels. Diagnostic tools such as excitation and offset measurement help identify wiring and other problems before collecting data. Once the system is checked and armed, it's easy to setup and monitor the data acquisition process using real-time communication and display updates. Details such as sample rate, test identifier, and test length can be specified for each data collection run. After data retrieval, the SLICEWare data viewer provides easy-to-use tools for reviewing test data. Features such as zoom, filtering and range selection are just a mouse click away.

TSR Control Software
TSR Control Software

TSR Control Software

TSR Control software provides fast, easy-to-use tools for controlling the TSR shock recorder and viewing the stored events. With a focus on speed and simplicity, TSR Control provides the tools to configure the recorder, view real-time sensor output and review your time-history data.

TSR Control is Windows XP, Vista, or 7 compatible. TSR is a standalone data logger so once it is armed, the PC can be disconnected.

TSR Control allows you to choose the recording time (seconds) and trigger threshold (g) for each axis. Initializing the TSR synchronizes its timestamp with the PC. The TSR will trigger and collect data for the programmed period if the g threshold on any axis is met. The system will automatically re-arm for another event after the previous event recording is complete.

The system allows users to easily download select or multiple events stored in the unit, which can also be viewed real time. TSR Control data viewer provides easy-to-use tools for zoom, filtering and FFT.
