TDAS PRO TOM

Squib Fire or Digital Outputs with 0.1 msec accuracy
The TDAS PRO Timed Output Module (TOM) generates firing signals for a wide variety of squibs used in airbags and pre-tensioners. It also generates isolated digital outputs that are often needed to initiate or synchronize other events in the test lab. Each TDAS PRO TOM contains standard 16-bit recording circuitry to capture voltage and current waveforms. All timing and output functions are programmable through the standard DTS Control Software package. No extras to buy - it's all standard. It is conveniently packaged to slide into any TDAS PRO multi-module rack.

Features:

  • Each TDAS PRO TOM can independently fire 4 squibs and has 8 separate digital outputs for controlling other systems requiring timed outputs.
  • Time delays are independently software programmable per channel from 0 to 99 seconds with 0.1 msec resolution.
  • Fire Voltage and Current waveforms are recorded with 16-bit resolution using software programmable sampling rates and up to one million samples per channel. Data may be viewed immediately after a test.
  • Isolated contact closure and CMOS/TTL compatible (0-5 volt) event input and digital outputs to other systems requiring timed control signals.
  • LED indicators clearly show channel and module status
  • All functions are programmable through standard TDAS PRO Windows® software.
  • Crashworthy: All units are 100% tested to 100+ Gs
  • Safety Features: Visual & audible warnings when armed. Cannot be activated without physically toggling a locking switch.
