JOB TITLE: Electronics Engineer

DEPARTMENT: Engineering

POSITION TYPE: Full-time, Salary, Exempt

REPORTS TO: Director of Engineering

SALARY RANGE: Commensurate with experience

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum BSEE or BSET with 5 years of electronics design experience. Excellent teamwork and communication skills are essential. Desirable analog design experience includes power supply, signal conditioning, filters, ADC and DAC circuits. Desirable digital design experience includes microprocessor interface to logic and memory, control with PLD and PGA devices, synchronous serial communication. Experience with mixed signal design and schematic capture is required. Experience with PCB fabrication specification and layout is valuable.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Electronics engineer for new and existing product designs
• Design and test analog signal conditioning, microprocessor interface, communication and control circuits for data acquisition products
• Write design and specification documents, test plans, and progress reports
• Document designs using CAD schematic capture software

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support PCB designs including layout and routing
• Work with technicians, software developers, and consultant staff as needed
• Provide support to DTS Technical Support staff

JOB TITLE: Electro Mechanical Assembler

DEPARTMENT: Production

REPORTS TO: Production Manager

POSITION: Full-Time, Hourly

PAY RATE: Commensurate with experience

REQUIREMENTS:
The qualified candidate must have 4 years experience in electro-mechanical assembly and the ability to perform a wide variety of electronic or Electro-mechanical assembly operations. The ideal candidate must promote mutual respect and have the desire to work in a busy team environment. The position may require overtime hours.

Skills required include: work with hand tools, soldering under the microscope, surface mounting, and cable assembly. This position is also responsible for reading and comprehending detailed drawings and work instructions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that every DTS product is assembled and manufactured to the established standards, guidelines and procedures in a timely manner.
• Assist in Assembly of DTS Products, including, but not limited to:
  • General assembly prep work
  • Building cable assemblies
  • General mechanical assembly tasks
  • Surface-mount and through-hole assembly and rework
  • In-process Inspection of own work and previous steps

JOB TITLE: Software Engineer

DEPARTMENT: Software Engineering

REPORTS TO: Director of Engineering

POSITION TYPE: Full-time, Salary, Exempt

PAY RATE: Commensurate with experience

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum BSCS, BSCE or BSEE with 3-5 years of software development experience.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills are essential. Desirable application
programming experience includes C/C++, Win32, UNIX, TCP/IP, multi-threaded
applications, and COM. Data acquisition, LabWindows/CVI programming experience
and electronics knowledge are a big plus.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contribute to software development process for application software as well
as custom software solutions.
• Maintain existing application software and custom software solutions
• Write specification documents, design documents, and progress reports
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform software testing and verification
• Work with technicians, engineering, and consultant staff as needed
• Contribute to development of firmware for select projects
